The Ghost 18 is built to feel easy to run in, but the right fit still matters. A daily trainer should not pinch, slip at the heel or feel like it needs breaking in before it feels useful.
For many runners, Ghost works because it sits in the middle. Soft enough for regular kilometres, not so built-up that it feels awkward, and neutral enough for people who do not need a strong support shoe.
Here at Smiths, GAIT analysis can help show whether the Ghost 18 suits the way you move. We can also check whether regular or wide width makes more sense, especially if you have had pressure through the forefoot in other running shoes.
Bring in your current trainers if you have them. Comparing wear patterns, fit marks and how the Ghost feels on foot usually gives a much clearer answer than choosing by model name alone.
