Ghost Max 2 is worth trying if standard daily trainers feel a bit too thin underfoot. The extra cushioning is the point, but it still needs to feel steady once you start moving.
For walkers, the rocker shape can make the shoe feel easier through each step. For runners, it may suit easy kilometres, recovery days or road sessions where comfort matters more than pace. The leather version also changes the feel slightly, giving the shoe a more structured everyday upper than the mesh running models.
Here at Smiths, we can check whether the width, heel hold and underfoot shape make sense for you. GAIT analysis may help if you plan to run in Ghost Max 2 regularly, especially if you are choosing between Ghost, Ghost Max and Adrenaline.
Bring in your current shoes if you have them. When you compare the stack height, wear pattern and fit side by side, it is usually much clearer whether Ghost Max 2 is the right direction.
